URL QR Code Generator

Paste a link and get a QR code that opens it. These are static codes: the link sits inside the image, so there is no redirect, no tracking and nothing that can expire.

How it works

  1. 1Paste the full link, or just the domain and https:// is added for you.
  2. 2Scan the preview with your phone to make sure it opens the right page.
  3. 3Download a PNG for documents and screens, or an SVG for print.

Link to QR code: keep the link short

Every character in the link adds modules to the code. A short address like example.com/menu makes a simple, quick-to-scan code, while a link with a long query string makes a dense one that needs to be printed larger. If your URL is long, shorten it on your own domain first.

Where link QR codes work well

Menus, flyers, business cards, product packaging, event posters, slides and shop windows. Anywhere a person has a phone and a link would be awkward to type.
