How is this different from a Snapcode?

A Snapcode is Snapchat's own yellow code, which only the Snapchat app reads. This is a standard QR code that any phone camera reads, and it opens your profile at snapchat.com/add, which then offers to open the app.

Where do I find my profile link?

In Snapchat, tap your avatar, then Share Profile, then Copy link. Or just type your username here.

Can people add me without the app?

They'll see your public profile in the browser, but they need the app to add you as a friend.

Does the code expire?

No. It contains a fixed link, so it works as long as your username stays the same.
