Placing an ISBN barcode on a cover
An ISBN barcode is an EAN-13 barcode, often with a small 5-digit add-on to its right that encodes the price. Print it at full size in black on a white box, on the lower right of the back cover, and keep at least a few millimeters of white space around it.
Each format of a book needs its own ISBN: the paperback, hardcover and ebook all get different numbers and different barcodes.
